The cost for 3-D printing has increased to 7 c/gram.  This is to cover the cost of the filament.
MakerSpace in the Newspaper
If you missed the article in the Cortland Standard about our MakerSpace, take a minute and read the article here.
3-D Printer Ideas
Would you like to use the 3-D printer but not sure what to print?  Here is the link to Thingiverse where you can download nearly any project you can imagine!  Some are free and others you have to pay for.  Bring the project to the library on a thumbdrive and we will walk you through the rest.  While you are there you can also sign up for your own MakerBot account which you will need to print a project.
MakerSpace Forms
Please feel free to print and fill out these forms prior to using the MakerSpace.  Note:  a Phillips Free Library Card is necessary to use the MakerSpace.  If you do not have a library card you can get one during library hours with a valid proof of address.
3-D Printer
The 3-D Printer is available at times other than regular MakerSpace hours.  Please check in with the office staff to sign up for a time.
