Summer Book Clubs

Registration for Summer Book Clubs is open now through May 20th.  (Registration for the Summer Reading Program will start in June).  We have book clubs for rising preschool through 12th grade students.  Each group will meet once in July and once in August.  Sign up for one or both.  Use the link here or stop at the library for a paper copy.

 

Naloxone Training

Phillips Free Library is hosting a Naloxone Training facilitated by the NYS Office of Addiction Services and Supports on Thursday, June 13th from 6:30-8:30 pm.  Anyone age 16 and over is welcome to attend.  Registration required: office@phillipsfreelibrary.org

 

Jr High Writing Workshop

Students in 6th-8th grade are invited to join us for a one time writing workshop focusing on adding humor to your creative writing.  The workshop will be on Thursday, May 23 from 6-7 pm.  Please register: office@phillipsfreelibrary.org

Knee High Story Time

Knee High Story Time meets on Wednesday mornings at 9am for stories, songs, rhymes and a craft geared toward toddler and preschool age children.  No registration necessary.

 

K-2 Library Zoo

K-2 Library Zoo meets on Wednesdays from 3:20-4:15 pm for Kindergarten - 2nd grade students.  There is a different program each week of the month.  No Registration necessary.

Points of View Book Club

The Points of View Book Club meets at Phillips Free Library on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm.  The book club is for adults to discuss novels centered on characters with diverse cultures, ethnicities and life experiences.  The book for May is Yellowface by R.F.
